Between late January to early April each year, Conscious Breath Adventures takes a limited number of guests to see and swim with humpback whales.  The week long all-inclusive trips take you to the largest gathering of humpback whales in the North Atlantic, in the Sanctuary for the Marine Mammals of the Dominican Republic .

Our journeys commence in Puerto Plata and the ten week season is scheduled during the height of the whales’ longer time on the Silver Bank. In addition to a ringside view of the spectacular behaviors that make humpbacks famous, there is also the unparalleled opportunity to meet the whales face to face in the water.

At-a-glance trip facts:

• The all inclusive per person cost is +/- $4,400 plus airfares and fees.
• These are snorkel only trips- no SCUBA is allowed. You’ll need a  wetsuit, mask, snorkel and fins.
• You’ll fly into the Dominican Republic. The closest airports are Puerto Plata, POP or Santiago, STI.
• You’ll board on Saturday evening in Puerto Plata and after an overnight crossing, spend Sunday-Friday offshore with the whales.
• There is no upper age limit, but you need to be in good health and comfortable in the water.
• Solo travelers, couples, families, small and large groups are welcome.
